Entry fee:

1. There is an entry fee of R150 to enter the competition.
2. You can enter more than one season at a cost of a R150 for each season entered.
3. Entry to this competition is subject to published costs and available to all interested participants from any area.
4. The entry fee is non-refundable

Photo competition organizers:

1. The organizers of the competition is Pro Design Photographers
2. The competition is open to all persons
3. Employees of Pro Design Photographers will not be allowed to enter.
4. Feel free to contact Pro Design Photographers for professional photos if you don’t have any recent pictures

Format:

1. We will accept two entries per person for all categories except the model category.  Further entries will be disqualified.
2. The model category will require a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 images.
3. Images can be landscape or portrait format featuring outdoor or indoor scenes.
4. Images can be colour or black & white.
5. Image must clearly show the contestants face.
6. Entry photos must be according to category
7. Categories consist of
1. The Four Seasons Baby ages 0 to 12 months
2. The Four Seasons Toddler ages 13 to 35 months
3. The Four Seasons Kiddie ages 3 to 6 years
4. The Four Seasons Teeny-bob ages 7 to 12 years
5. The Four Seasons Teen - ages 13 to 17 years
6. The Four Seasons Male and Female Model ages18 to 26 years
7. The Four Seasons Family (parents and kids only)
8. The Four Seasons Couple (married, dating, young and mature)
8. Images must represent the season entered for.  Clothing, props or location, need to represent that season – cannot enter winter category while we are in spring.
9. Closing date per season is as follow
1. Spring        –     25th of November 2008
2. Summer      –     25th of February 2009
3. Autumn      –     25th of May 2009
4. Winter        –     25th of August 2009
10. Twelve finalists will be selected in each category at the end of each season.
11. These finalists image will be displayed on the site under each relevant season and category, by the 10th of the following season month.
12. You can enter more than one season, but when selected as a finalist in a season you cannot enter again.  Entry fee applicable with each additional season entered.
13. At the end of the season year (August 2009) there will be 48 finalists in each category and one winner will be selected from each category.
14. The winners of each category will be notified by telephone or email by the 15th of September 2009
15. The winners will be displayed on the competition page for the duration of the 2009/2010 Four Seasons Competition year.
16. No image may be entered in more than one category. The judges reserve the right to re-categorize any entry.
17. Categories may be combined depending on the number of entrants.
18. Pro Design Photographers reserve the right to reject any entry on the grounds of illegality, infringement of any third party rights, the subject matter being offensive or contrary to standards of taste and decency, or any other ground that may be considered appropriate.  Entry fee shall be forfeited to defray administration fees.

Image uploads:

1. Images must be uploaded through the Pro Design Photographers website – www.pro-design.co.za
2. Follow the upload instructions and make sure that images are correct format and size.

By entering the competition, entrants:

1. Warrant that you have the right to submit the photographs and enter the entrant into the competition.
2. Agree that pro-design.co.za have the right to publish any of the photographs.
3. Declare that the entry is your own (unless a legal guardian or parent of entrant)
4. Declare that you own copyright in the photograph as well as images used in the photo.

Competition and Judging:

1. Images will be judged by a judging panel consisting of sponsors
2. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
3. The judges reserve the right not to make any award.
4. The judges reserve the right to declare any entry void.
5. Reasonable efforts will be made to notify all finalists and winners. Notification of  the finalists and winning entrants will also be available on the competition website: www.pro-design.co.za
6. Finalists images will be displayed on the site under each relevant season and category, by the 10th of the following season month
7. The winners of each category will be notified by telephone or email by the 15th of September 2009
8. pro-design.co.za shall not be liable for any claims arising from the competition.
9. The winning entrants are responsible for all expenses not expressly included in the prize packaging.
10. Travel, accommodation and other expenses related to winning the competition are the responsibility or the entrant.
11. Winners will be responsible for all collection of prizes unless otherwise stated by sponsors.
12. The prizes are not refundable and no part of the prize may be exchanged for cash.  No alternate to the stated prizes are available
13. The terms and conditions of all sponsors and their prizes will be strictly adhered to.
14. Prizes will be subject to availability from the sponsors and must be claimed within a certain time period as stated by the sponsor of that prize.
15. If Pro Design Photographers are unable to contact any winner after making reasonable efforts to do so or the prizes are not claimed within 20 days then that winner’s prize will be deemed to have been forfeited and Pro Design Photographers reserve the right to present the prize to another entrant selected by the judges.
16. Pro Design Photographers reserve the full right to cancel this competition at any stage if it considers this to be necessary and/or if circumstances arise that are outside of its control
17. By entering this competition you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
